Energy Audit is defined as “the verification, monitoring and analysis of the use of energy including submission of technical report containing recommendations for improving energy efficiency with cost-benefit analysis and an action plan to reduce energy consumption”. These are based on Efficient Studies that will be conducted for Boilers, Furnaces, Thermopacks, Ovens and Hot Air and Generators.

Boiler House Audit

Due to inefficient combustion, heat transfer surface fouling, and poor operation and maintenance, the performance parameters of a boiler, such as efficiency and evaporation ratio, decrease over time. Bad boiler performance is possible even with a brand-new boiler for a variety of reasons, including declining fuel quality, poor water quality, etc. Boiler efficiency tests enable us to pinpoint the issue location for remedial operations and determine the boiler's divergence from the ideal efficiency.

Compressor Study

Despite good maintenance procedures, the free air delivered may be less than the design value due to the ageing of the compressors and inherent inefficiencies in the internal components. Other elements like inadequate maintenance, clogged heat exchangers, and the effects of altitude might occasionally also restrict free air delivery. The ineffective Compressor may need to run longer to supply the air demand, using more electricity than is actually necessary.

Energy Conservation

The effort to lower Energy consumption by utilising fewer energy services is known as Energy conservation. This can be done by either increasing the efficiency with which energy is used (using less energy for a constant service) or by decreasing the quantity of service required (for example, by driving less).
